How can I create a project in Astogi?

For how long will Astogi be free?

Which git clients are supported?

Can I change my Pricing plan?

Do I have to invite the Astogi Asana user to my workspace?
This step is optional and is only required for people who don't want to receive the Git commit notifications via their own account.
What if I don't want to invite the Astogi Asana user to my workspace?
We understand that inviting an user outside of your organisation is a big step, especially when Asana doesn't give us a way to limit the scope of this user. If you are concerned about this, you can always create a new Asana user yourself which is exclusively used to send notifications. When connecting Astogi to Asana, just make sure that you connect this separate user.
When are unique IDs assigned to a task?
It doesn't matter how a task is created, or moved between projects. The moment a new task is added to a project or created in a project Astogi will check if the task has been seen before. If it has, Astogi will assign the previous ID. If it hasn't Astogi will create a new unique ID based on your settings.
Where am I able to find the unique task ID that is being assigned by Astogi?
All unique task IDs are prepended at the beginning of the task title. This way, you can easily see all unique IDs of the tasks in a project.
When do I get a notification from Git?
If you added your Asana project in Astogi, and coupled this to your Git repository we will track the commit messages being made. Whenever we find a commit message that does include one of the unique IDs in the coupled Asana project, we will send a notification to that task. That way all followers will get notified of the activity in that task.
What is the Round Robin integration?
The Round Robin integration automatically assigns new unassigned tasks to the next available person in your team. New members of the project will automatically be added to the assignment rotation. This ensures an even distribution of tasks across your team members and prevents tasks from sitting unassigned.
How does the Team Alias integration work?
The Team Alias integration allows you to add the Astogi bot to one or multiple teams to register all team members. Once registered, you can add the bot as a collaborator on any task, and all members of the registered teams will automatically be added as collaborators on that task. This saves time and ensures everyone who needs to be involved is included.
How can I use the Ask ChatGPT integration?
The Ask ChatGPT integration allows you to @mention the Astogi bot in Asana comments, and the AI (powered by ChatGPT) will respond to your question or comment. This is helpful for getting quick assistance, brainstorming ideas, or answering questions without leaving your Asana workspace.
Can I connect multiple Git repositories to a single Asana project?
Yes! You can connect multiple Git repositories to a single Asana project. This is particularly useful for larger projects that span across multiple repositories. To do this, create your Asana project in Astogi, and then add multiple repositories to it from the admin panel.
How can I synchronize existing tasks in my Asana project with Astogi?
You can synchronize existing tasks by going to your project details in the admin panel and clicking the 'Synchronize tasks' button. This will add task identifiers to all existing tasks in your Asana project. Note that this process may take some time for projects with many tasks.
What are Automation Projects in Astogi?
Automation Projects are Asana projects connected to an automation user in Astogi. These projects enable advanced features like auto-tagging, automated replies, team collaboration tools, and ChatGPT integration. You can view and manage your Automation Projects from the admin panel.
Can I customize the task identifier format?
Yes, you can customize the task identifier format through your project settings. By default, Astogi uses your project name as a prefix for task IDs, but you can modify this to suit your team's needs. Consistent task IDs make it easier to reference specific tasks in communications and Git commits.
How do I connect my Asana workspace to Astogi?
To connect your Asana workspace, go to the Integrations section in the admin panel and follow the OAuth process to authorize Astogi to access your Asana account. Once connected, you'll be able to select projects from your workspace to add to Astogi.
Is there a limit to how many projects I can create in Astogi?
The number of projects you can create depends on your subscription plan. The free plan typically allows one project, while paid plans offer multiple projects. You can view your current project limit in your profile settings in the admin panel.
Can I use Astogi with private repositories?
Yes, Astogi works with both public and private repositories. When connecting your Git client (GitHub or Bitbucket), you'll authorize Astogi to access your repositories securely through OAuth, which includes access to private repositories if you grant the permission.
